Just popped into the local on the way to work today and they have got Camel spiders in!! I didnt even know people kept these. Bloody horrible looking things. constantly aggressive, Damn fast with a nasty bite, sounds like a lovely pet....

a friend had one they are fascinatingly horrible, it chewed through 4 plastic lids on the rub it was in

1.0.0 burmese python,giblet. 1.0.0 BCI, william. 0.1.0 blue tongue skink, 0.1.0 green iguana, jasmin, 1.0.0 cape house snake, 0.1.0 checkered garter snake

yes about 16" long.
watching one demolish a locust is quite impressive

There are loads of myths surrounding these that tend not to be true. Generally all started by soldiers out in Iraq. It tends to be there worst fear out there and they exaggerate their feats. But they are still nasty things!!

Oh I love the look of these things, they had 2 in my local shop but were snapped up before I could get my name down on one. He fed one a cricket, it was brutal. lol. One day there will be one in my collection in a specially strengthened rub.
