| I gave my vivs the Ardap treatment on Monday. Boris had about 10 mites. Everything seemed ok. Got him out just now and he had a small black mite under his chin! Does this mean the Ardap didnt work? Yukky things! |

The mites have to come in contact with the ardap
Best to do a very shallow bath (30-32c) and pop I tiny bit of fairy liquid to break the water surface
And it should disturb it and either move from under his chin or die
Repeat every now and then

| I picked it out from under the scale and squashed it! Doesnt spraying the viv kill them then? I am very confused.This was a smaller one than before. |

I was under the impression that they have to come in contact with the spray
How would the die ? As theres no fumes to kill them

| well I sprayed the viv and the stuff in it. Gave Boris a bath and put him back after 24 hrs. |

Have you seen them dead on the paper or in the water bowl ?
If they won't dead yet they will be soon ardap I've heard nothing but good things about |

Best to do the bath thing and keep an eye on it
They like to get near the vent as well as under the chin

| Bathed Boris, nothing came off him. Dont quite know how to proceed. Thank goodness Sas doesnt have them. He doesnt like water! |
