Our local reptile shop does good deals so I'll have a good look about at the weekend if not I'll try eBay or amazon, I'm glad you all like the viv as novice snake owners we just wanted reassurance we had things on the right track :) |

Do you mean in the little tank? Yes it's attached to a hebisat which controls it 24/7 !! Reading other posts they don't really like bright light would you suggest getting a ceramic bulb to ease off the brightness !! never given it a second thought until reading other people's posts - our Molly seems to be doing alright in there she eats , sheds & poops fine |

In the first viv i can't find Rainbow's hide !!!! Regarding the bright light, actually yes, royals don't like that much of bright light, i had to change my normal bulb with red one to get Blitz to eat. But since Molly is doing great in eating and shedding that's mean she's okay with that |

Rainbow & petals are in the same viv their hide is the large cork dome at the bottom of their viv - most there time they sit on top shelf together coiled up (but also read this is because they are competiting for the best spot) there's not really anywhere else to put another one unless on one of the shelves!! |

At the moment the bulb fitting is just a normal one - I've read ceramic bulbs get very hot and I'll need a ceramic fitting is that correct? Or should I try a higher wattage at the moment they have only got a 60w |

yeah you will need a ceramic bulb holder for a ceramic bulb, plastic holders wont cope with a ceramic bulb |
