Well, Steve has officially caught the addiction.
Collected the little pastel and Andrew had a Retic in while the owner is away.
By the end of this year there will be a Retic in the house lol
Any have one or at least handled any?

bear in mind that the dwarfs can still easily reach 12ft.
have handled a 12ft ish rectic that came into the local rescue center we had to hold him still so an eyecap could be removed which he really wasnt happy about.
they are extremly strong and always on the go but with regular handling this rectic has calmed down very well and even came along to a local reptile meet an was fine with various people holding him |

| Tiger retics are supposed to be a bit tamer. Their feeding response is still crazy though. They leap out their vivs for food! |

| I think the super dwarfs only grow about 6-7ft at most maybe smaller only problem is the price there not exactly cheap lol |

think you right with the super dwarfs being around that size and yea looking at a few thousand for one of them.
think their attitude is the same as normal rectics unlike the dwarf burms that are apparently not the nicest snakes |

| You can get some of the more normal type morphs for around 400-500 the rep room had a big list a few weeks ago but only have 3 now online for £400 each the ones they had at donny were amazing |

| JanieW, jumping the gun again. I love the look and size of the one in Bernies, but haven't decided if I'd have one yet. Being away from home a lot doesn't really make having a big snake feasible. Wouldn't be safe for Jane to take out when I'm away and wouldn't be fair on the snake not getting out for a month. |

| i love the look of rectics but they are just a bit too big for me an 18ft+ snake is going to need a couple of people there when handling ect plus you would need one hell of a feeding rub if you feed out of the viv |

| Do your snakes not get blood on your lap/floor when you feed them on your lap/floor. My feeding tub always comes out with the odd blood stain after feeding. I think its probably just from the rats nose from when its been frozen, but Juju likes to drag the rat around a bit. |
