does any 1 find that exo terra hides hold the heat iv got my hide under the ceramic heater and the heat keeps rising in there

Most things under a heat bulb hold their heat. I don't put my hides directly under the bulb but just to the side, measure the hot spot temperature from the substrate level directly under the bulb.

I shall share a small experience I have had with them too. I wash them in the dish washer on the cold setting. Accidentally left it on the hottest setting and the dam thing melted and fell to pieces, did a right number on my dishwasher.

ok nice one i have my thermostat sensor under my heater ground level i got home today temp got up to
37deg
