Personally I use Ardap for mites, it is way cheaper than other products for a massive spray can. Spray the viv and substrate, leave it for 20ish mins then put the snake back in, it lasts for 3 to 4 weeks so will also get any eggs that hatch later. Instead of Beaclean look at using F10, you can get it as super concentrate which is about £8 for 100ml but depending on the requirement can be diluted to 1:1000 I use it at about 1:250. It can also be used fo RI's with a nebuliser so it's a very good all rounder and works out to be a lot cheaper. A 1:250 mix will give you 25 litres for £8.
The SC stands for super concentrate. It is by far the best value of the range and you can dilute it to requirements. The others in the range are ready to use so you are paying a similar price to the 100ml of SC for the 1 litre ready to use where the SC will make at least 25 litres depending on the required strength.
Cheers Guys. That Ardap sounds like good stuff. I don't need it yet but it's better to be prepared
Yes it's great stuff and with it being in a spray can it gets right into all the corners and gaps easily. About all I keep in ready is Ardap, F10 and a nebuliser.
