im looking for a bit of help or advise with regard to the humidity in matildas viv,
the problem is it keeps dropping with the lowest so far being 39, it doesnt seem to matter what i do it wont go any higher and during shed time i basically have to soak the brnches to maintain anything higher, not sure what has happened as this has just become a problem in the last few wekks??

i never measured the humidity with my royals as normal household humidity if around 50% an fine for them, have read that humidity readers are not that accurate anyway.

when my snakes are blue i just spray the walls 2 or 3 times a day and put a damp flannel on top of the hot hide an dont usually have any shedding problems

thanks so much for the promp reply, i will just have to stop worrying, im a total worry monger when it comes to ma wee baby, cannae help it, just dont want to make any mistakes that can be easily avoided, i knowi shouldnt really worry as she eats like a pro, never misses actually wether blue or otherwise, sheds regularily with no real problems and seems to be perfectly fine in all ways to be honest, gaibns plenty weight, pees and poos nae bother (usually in the mmost innapropriate places lol) and other than that there is really nothing to report.....
kinnin ma luck she will stop feeding noo and hae horrendous sheds now that ive blown ma trumpet!!!!!!
shes just ma baby and i dont wanna get anything wrong.....
i know you probably thinkin "what a freak treatin her snake like her baby" but i cant help it, i just love her too bits, shes one of the family :)

no problem, i was the same with my first snakes always worrying.
she sounds like a happy and content snake.
least if royals have a bad shed its usually easy to sort out unlike burms which can be a right pain.
yes their good at crapping in awkward places my bull snakes crap up the wall half the time
