I figured I would re into myself on here , I have been lurking for over a year and a half now as when I first started keeping snakes I had a male royal called zac , however beingnew to snakes back then I struggled with the non feeding troubles no matter how hard I tried so we managed to find him a home with someone who had more experience . Since then we got into boas and had planned to breed them when they had grown a little , however a Staffy dog joined the family and showed us that these tough looking dogs aren't quite so tough and he developed a massive fear of our biggest boa and would get himself into a massive stress whenever he spotted her in her viv . Unfortunately our house wasn't big enough to move the big vivs upstairs out of view and out of bounds to the dog so they had to be rehomed which was devestating . We decided we still wanted to keep and breed snakes however we needed to find a species which could be housed upstairs . Now we have a group of hognoses and finally after a year we added a royal back to our collection and I'm so glad I did . We got eddy on Friday and I can see he's not going to be the last . All snakes are now in our room which means for a fair amount of banging around and the occasional snake fart !
Just wanted to re introduce myself and say hi and that it feels good to be back on here properly . Sorry for the long post !
