to be honest i'm not really sure it is a rock python what do you think?

its not a pure african rock python.
it has afrock marking/colour to its sides but burmese markings along the front half of the top and strangely its head looks like a granite burmese.
i would say it a cateater python (burm x afrock) but with something else in the genetics somewhere. very nice snake though definatly something i would buy |

it is too early for an afrock for me Rob i don't think i can handle keeping an afrock right now, due to its aggressive rep.
so i just took few pics
i saw albino burmese that could be a good investment for me, but i have to wait until situation gets better here in syria first. |

Thank you chrisc, i think you are right in what u said. i really couldn't define what it is exactly. i thought too it could be (Burmese + Afrock).
it kept sniffing at me all the time when i was handling it and the owner (who is my friend) said it tried to attack at him yesterday |

just had a quick look at those links a some others, yes as you said its definatly a indian rock python the afrock is a different species (python sebae)
have heard of indian rock pythons but never read much about them i know they are not very common in the uk
