FINALLY! Dumbo has eaten, and off his own back i might add as i was thinking of having to go down the live route not sure if it was the house move - to a small tub/RUB, the gerbil - although that hasn't worked before, or me accidentally leaving the gerbil in the viv for 2 days - ok, i wouldn't normally leave anything in that long!
it's taken me over 24 hours to pluck up the courage to check he hadn't just moved it, i would have been absolutely gutted if it was just under his hide.
whatever, it's worked, what a piggin' relief!! |

Nice one Ali and well done Dumbo . Ali could you have a chat with The Hoff now please? He seems to think that his mouse is there to practice his martial arts on rather than to eat. Bless 'im |

it's early days yet PW was he on rats or mice before? wiggling them like they're alive works for some, sometimes they're more interested of the food plays dead, and sometimes they need their food to play dead for 2 days! any tips from previous owner? when you find out what works write it all down so you can do it again next time |

He's on mice. I got her to email me weights of his last feed and some of the others. Went to the rep store and was weighing all the mice so that they are the same. I think that a lot of it is because he's come from a quiet home with no kids into a fairly noisy home with lots of kids.
She did "all of the above". The only thing I haven't tried is the two day thing. I'll give that a go when he's due a feed again.
He'll get there in the end. I'm more stubborn than him |
