theres a few pins on the market at the mo so i was having a play with the genetics calc to see what i could do with one. the only thing i can come up with stright away is spinners and lemon blasts. so heres the thing; they both look almost identical to a normal pin to me! is it just bad photos? or am i blind? anybody know anything that defines them? |

Blind lol Pinstripes are a dominant gene like the spider and will always show there pattening in Genes
Spinners tend to be more reduced patterned And Lemon blasts get a bit more busy patten yellow bottom half and more blushing on there head

You must have seen bad pictures. Lemonblasts to put it bluntly are yellow pinstripes, spinners will be a dark brown. Both are great morphs, lemonblasts all the way though. |

With your bumblebee you could get spinners, spinner blasts and lemonblasts |

yeah, the problem was it was a male pin, and i only have the one female whos a normal until (hopefully) after this breeding season. a yellow pin sounds pretty good... might have to look into that again then! was just looking at the photos and thinking they all looked the same, but obviously not. |

I must worship the Nuclear Pin. :D Yeah, lots to do with the Pinstripe, depending on what you mix it with. |

so i can now see, been playing about and it looks like a pin will be a decent investment after all. wont be able to get much out of it for a few years what with growing on times etc. but deffinatly worth the wait. so, anyone know where there might be a female pin knocking about for a decent price? |

You should look for a lemonblast female then you'd get dragon flys if you put your fire to her or killer bees killer blasts and killer spinners if you put your bumblebee to her |
