My girl is acting a bit weird lately.. Over the last couple of days shes been laying with her head raised resting on a branch or the side of her hide. I've never seen her do this before and just thought it was a bit random haha. She's also been pushing her head very hard against the glass on her viv.. And she's not shedding or anything..
Any suggestions? |

And she's not eating at the moment so maybe she's decided she wants food now haha |

Ah, well in that case I would say you just have a randy girl right now : )
I don't have any experience in breeding Snakes, but it sounds normal for this time of year, and especialy for breeding Snakes. So all I can say is keep an eye on her and just watch out for anything more unusual.
Is she in with a male right now? She could be sick of him or wanting to get away? Just one thought. But as I say, just keep an eye out for now. |

She generally does it when the male isn't in with her haha. I noticed it most the day after I took the male out haha so maybe she misses him or is glad he's gone haha
They haven't locked the last couple of times I've put them together so maybe he's not giving her what she wants! Haha |

Males are just as randy as girls are ; )
This time of year means a lot of Snakes will be 'coming into heat' as it were and will be acting strange like this. |
