I'm sick of colds! One after the other and it never seems to end. Right now I feel and probably look like a leaky Zombie : (

I now oficially put a ban on all colds for the rest of this year. I mean do we not have enough to deal with already with all this snow? What does it think it's playing at?

There is now a ban on all forms and strains of cold & flu viruses. Any sign of intrusion should be reported imediatly so that it can be evacuated from the premesses (the body) straite away.

Thank you. That is all : )

Just me and my zoo.

@Formand: yeah, same here. I get everything going round and it's never just the little sniffle that every else feels either. It wrecks my immune system and it can take me ages to recover.
Unfortunatly this is one cold a bit too soon after the first, so I'm getting tireder and tireder.

@JanieW: How lucky are you!
I've never tryed that yet. I'm a bit funny with cold medcines 'cause of the dodgy stuff some of them have in. But if it works I might have a look into it. Cold medcines don't often work for me though.
What's in it?
I used a combo of disolvable Vit C tablets with Echinacea tablets. It's one of few things that work for me.
At the minuet I'm also using Olbas oil and lip cream.

My lips look awful. All white, cracked and bleeding and I can't even smile without splitting them more : /

There does appear to have been quite the nasty little virus doing the round. I never get sick, I have always had this ability to dodge the colds and flu and about November I got a cold and it lingered for nearly 2 months. Not full blown ill, just general roughness and tiredness for 2 months. Happy to say I have kicked its ass now but it was quite the fight.

Ahhh, Spring. I can feel the warmth already : )

Last year we didn't seem to have much of a Spring. Unless that was just round my end? Not even the Daffodils came up properly. And then you get the lovely people kicking the heads off the ones that do manage to come up.

We also had an outbreak of myxamatosis (sp?) in the countryside that in the end was traced back to a farm that had released it on purpose. It was not nice to see those Rabbits.
They got done for killing wildlife in a protected area.

But, saying that, we did have the bluebells coming up, a sea of purple in all the woods, and the whitedrops. Their were plenty of baby Animals to see and last year I saw my very first pair of Red Kites! I was chuffed : 3

Bring on the Spring!

There's just one tiny problem with that... I am just the teesiest bit totally s**t-scared of needles...

I can't even watch him at the start : /

But I have heard and read about how Snake venom seems to do more than imunise you if you get bit by the same species. There's all sorts of reserch being done these days into what effects is has and why.
Ignoring the injections part, it's all still very interesting : )
