Hi I'm new to keeping royals I have a cb11 het albino male and he hasn't taken food for about 3 weeks should I be worried he is in a 2x18x18 viv I have kept corns before no problem in them eating. The shop was feeding him large weener rats so I have kept offering the same. Obviously I don't want him to starve but I have read that they can be funny eaters he hasn't got any signs of a shed

At this stage, I would want to monitor his weight weekly. If he's not losing more than 10% of his weight when you got him, then he is fine. If he is losing more than that, I'd take him to the vet.

There are more than just temps that can get a royal off his feed. Security is one, humidity is another, breeding season another.

So, if you show us your viv, we can see if there's anything we can spot that might be improved.

Hi my trusted local reptile shop and breeder said he looked a little under weight but not to worry he is also slightly dehydrated so I put him in a bath for bout 10 mins , hot end 90ish cool 84 and humidity around 40% if I mist daily it rises to around 70+ I did see a slight tint in eyes n dull skin I hope he is just fasting n abut to shed . I have posted on snake health section too

What a relief!
These non-feeders are such a worry.
He was probably just taking his time to settle in.
