Sounds daft but our neighbor tortoise went missing just over 2years later found it on his drive, I think it just went for a walk around our close.

I suppose if he has been surviving on Termites or Cockroaches like people say then it might make it more beleivable. But still, that's a long time for him to live on nothing but.

And how did he get into that box? That's the only slightly worrying part of it. The paranoid side of me hopes the parents didn't put him in there to try and get rid of him : (
Or have I miss-read that part?

Good on him though, lets hope he's happy to be loved again : )
