My little royal bit me once, and has tried again many times but failed lol. It didn't hurt at all, it bled a little but it looked a lot worse than what it was. It just felt like a tiny pin pr1ck

My top five bites.

No 1 - adder bite
No 2 - biting my own cheek or tongue
No 3 - gerbil bite
No 4 - cat bite
No 5 - dog bite

It's the shock of the strike speed that's the worse bit about a (non venomous) snake bite but they are so fast it's truly fascinating too. It something you just have to accept when you're into snakes, I got bit last night, my own fault and totally painless.

Not been bitten by a royal but have been chewed by a milk snake. It was funny really. He didn't strike just suddenly decided to chew on my hand. I suddenly realised what he had done and shouted 'ouch get it off'. My son laughed and said keep still and he will let go, which he did, then chewed somewhere else on my hand. The thing is it did not actually hurt at all, it just shocked me. I guess the 'get it off' was just a natural response to me seeing something bite my hand regardless of whether there was any pain or not lol. Very embarassing . Been bitten by a Labrador and a Great Dane. The guinea pig bite has been my worst bite of all, very painful. The snake bite was nothing.

I stood on it, or more accurately I jumped out of a tree into leaves. It did not appreciate it so asked me politely to get off only I didn't speak adder so it bit me in the shin instead. I made it half way home before my leg stopped working. My leg got all swollen and then cracked and looked like marble. Not pretty but the best snake bite story I have so far and until Kelfezond gets tagged by a cobra I'm still one of only a few in the elite venomous bite gang. I'd love an adder to add to the gang.

Woah adder bite sounds nasty but a great bragging story!!

I've been bit by tonnes of hamsters and they hurt like a mothaf***er!

Apparently ophelia (my brb) struck and bit me quickly and I didn't even feel it! It was just after I'd got her and think she got spooked so struck at my head. The OH Couldnt stop laughing about how wide her mouth was and all I could do was apologise to her poor little lamb!

As for a royal bite I couldn't honestly comment! I'm sure it's only sore If they latch on and twist?!
