Well im on a stupid (but effective) diet at the moment so have only had a tiny bit of chocolate this easter , but in the early hours of sunday morning , big Edith decided to start laying her eggs . My other half stayed up from 2 am (the clocks went forward) all the way till 8 am when she finished laying and we managed to get 19 good eggs and 5 slugs . I dont know how i am going to cope with a 55-60 day wait on these guys!!
We also have Eris in her pre lay shed too now so its all happening after 6 + months of planning and preparing!
need to find a way to keep busy for 60 days now....! |

This is quite a big clutch they can have anywhere from 8 to 30 eggs , she laid 12 last year. We are expecting some albinos and hets from her , hopefully some will be high yellow as there aren't as many around since extreme reds came on the scene , she should have a mixture of orange and yellows hopefully :) |

Thanks del , we don't think it was the Annie sadly , he's still scared of his own shaddow but he may have locked but judging by the time scale we think it was the albino that's locked to both . He's back in with Edith now to increase the chance for double clutching and the other female is in pre lay. Hows ur lot ? |

Would be nice if he caught her but I don't think it was sadly , bit he will have his turn next season as we have a 50% het albino we are proving out this year so it depends on that to see if he goes to one lady or two |
