Hi do anyone use the ikea rubs 100x58x18 are they any good for keeping royals in, I was a bit worried they might be a bit shallow . |

they are really good tubs, the only problem is they need to be used within a rack as the lids are useless. it is the rack setup I shall be using when I move house |

If your going for the ikea pax wardrobe for your rack frame im sure the shelf spacing is spot on for lidless tubs |

Hi whats wrong with the lids, no not using pax frame, making it out of same stuff the viv unit is made from. |

The lids don't clip on they just sit loosely on top of a rim on the inside if you know what i mean |

Ok , what do you do for ventilation, and what sort of gap from top of rub to shelf above, I was going to use mats, what size do you recommend, sorry to be a pain but any thing else you can think of that might help me with my design. Cheers |

Just been looking what are the 70lt really useful boxes like any good or the ikea one's better. |

The rubs will be better if you want to use a lid and i think they have more height, if using the ikea tubs a gap of 2-5mm will be ok if its for larger snakes and that would do for ventilation and for heat mat something that covers a third of the floor space so for a 70l rub a 23" x 11" heatmat will be perfect |
