Well after my new baby female ate last night she went into her cool hide and has stayed there since i think i havent seen her moving out all day and just checked her there and she still hasnt moved is this normal behaviour out of babys as im used to my boys moving from hide to hide countless amount of times during the day and as i said she is the first baby snake i have ever had any experiance with the rest i have gotten as sub adults and i am unsure if babys are differant also im going to take every1s advice and feed her every 4/5 days to try get her to bulk up a bit as i dont like her being so thin :( and after her eating last night after all the stress she was through im hoping she is going to be a good eater :)

All advice welcome thanks :)

Doesn't sound totally normal but nothing of too much concern either. I would clean her up, warm water and cotton wool should shift it. I would avoid been overly forceful though, as she only ate last night. Have a feel of the bump, it may just be a urate about to be expelled, I occasionally feel them moving about inside Duke it's freaky. It might be worth doing a test for parasites too if the persistent messyness continues as she is a new snake

Understandable. Better to worry about nothing than miss something. Vigilance is a good thing, specially around a new snake.
