Rambo has just shed, I waited about half hour then carefully lifted him out then took all the skin but couldn't see any wee or poo, after looking at his skin I noticed a very small bit of blood at the tail I assume came from his rear end, should I be concerned? Could he be a she? Does that even happen to female snakes? |

It's totally normal, or happens often enough to not be anything to worry about, it's where the shed comes away inside the vent they can bleed a tiny bit. My corn snake has this on every shed. It's not really an indicator of sex and not related to their breeding cycle. |
