I tested my thermometer in my non feeding boas viv yesterday and found it to be 1-2c out (reading higher than it actually was in the rub). I have swapped the thermometer and increased my temperatures by 2c.

Anyway my question is, although only out by a small amount, would being just 1-2c cooler be enough to make a snake stop eating?

what is the temp inside the rub? you said on the other thread that the probe's are on the mat.

it's possible but wouldn't think 1-2c lower would bother him too much, i have william's hot end set to 30c as he seem's to prefer it a bit cooler an spend's nearly all his time in the cool end
