Just ordered a the lucky reptile thermometer hygrometer deluxe pro which has a temp and hygrometer probe and a second temp probe as far as I understand it! Would I place the hygro/temp probe in cool end and the other temp probe in hot spot? Or does the hygro need to go in centre of viv?

As far away from the heat source as possible. Though to be honest I wouldn't worry about it too much, *99.999% of houses in the UK have the right humidity for every day Royal requirements.

Thanks. Yea my humidity in my house is about 30% so in the viv has been measuring 17-20 on the dreaded exo terra stick on hygros! Since switching to orchid bark it seems to be holding steady at 50% now!
