Hi all,I have an adult male who really needs to be rehomed. I basically can't provide for him properly :( I thought he'd be ok in a tub with heat mats as he's not very big, but he hasn't eaten now since December 17th and is getting thinner.I can't get a better setup as I'm a student moving to and from home regularly and already have a corn snake in a vivarium (who's very happy!) which takes up enough space as it is! So this is really hard but I think he needs rehoming. If a more experienced keeper with an adequate setup could take him off my hands for me that'd be for the best I think.
I'm going to be in Gloucestershire from tomorrow (23rd June) until the 19th July, during which period I'd be happy to drive somewhere if needs be, and then in Southampton from the 20th July onwards. Whilst in Southampton I will be unable to drive anywhere to meet someone.
Please someone take him off me and care for him better than me! :(

When you travel to and from uni do you take snake with you? As that could be the cause of him not eating

richard v - he's 4 years old and weighs 1.3kg atm. He should weigh more like 1.6kg though...
foremand - thanks, I'll bear that in mind! Thinks it's unlikely though haha

Blimey I thought you were talking about a tiny snake, are you selling this snake or just rehoming, my royal is 5years old and only weighs in at 1kg just, again my royal has only eaten twice this year. He sounds about right to me, just trying to put your mind at rest.

I'm rehoming - just want him to be happy and kept well! I know he's not dangerously thin now or anything but I know my house will be freezing cold again in a few months and I don't want to put him at risk any more than I already seem to have done :/
