I was sitting next to my royal tanks. As I was feeding the beardy meal worms n in the corner of my eye I saw the royal cone out of his hide n straight for me. Got him out n he was fine.

His belly was puffing out and his neck was S shaped but as soon as I opened the glass he was fine lol




Any reason why?

On that's a getting ready to strike pose for sure, either mistaken you for food or just feeling threatened by you being so close, my Boa does this all the time, fine when you're actually dealing with her but ready to tag you every time you go near.

oooh a 'feed me now!' pose! My boys always come out and do that when Im feeding Ria but if I offer it to them they bugger off back in their hides!

They got fed on Thursday. The snakes that is. So couple more days until feed yet
