My royal refused to feed for the first time last night! He struck then left it! I know missing one feed is absolutely nothing. I moved house at the weekend and he's probably stressed. I offer him every 5 days and every 7 for my other snakes which I was going to feed tonight but would you recommend leaving feeding them until next week to settle down?

I'll do that thanks. Speaking of bulls Ive been thinking about getting one as I only have room for 1 more snake I've been thinking carefully about it. I know they can be aggressive but thats part of the challenge! Would they be a good choice? Can you handle yours at all?

they are more mouth than anything to be honest my male ivan is a wimp an hide's soon as he see's me but the female is a bit feisty in the viv an will tag me if i lift the hide with my hand so i just get her out with a hook an she is fine.

a friend's bull is the same as mavis and another friend has a couple of northern pine snake's(same family, pituophis) they are a little hissy but tame.

great snake's to own and get to a good size the bull's average 6-7 1/2ft, ivan is just under 3 year's old an 6ft whereas mavis is 4 1/2-5ft at the same age

Mavis! Love that name for a snake! I'm going to order from 888 I think. Want something with a bit of attitude but handleable and they sound perfect!
