Some if you may remember about a thread I made regarding a baby royal that looked ill and so underweight it was smaller than my little finger in width and looked completely dehydrated in a store in Chelmsford, Essex that I find is sickening. That treat all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles in a bad way just for a profit.
Well recent news is that they were in the paper this week regarding animal rights were getting involved to move on future customers to the store. And not letting anyone in, in a name and shame protest. After reading the write up, it had been been prosecuted for 3 breaches to her license and fined in court. And a ton of complaints were put forward to this store aswell. Complaints such as bring puppies into the premises before the 7 day vaccinations could take effect. And within reach other other animals and diseases.
How can some cruel people do this? It's disgusting. She has owned the place for 32 years and had countless fines and prosecutions. The shop is so small you can hardly walk around it. It's make me sick to think done people just want to make a few quid and not put any care into there job.
Where money can be made there will always be people looking to make an easy buck. Its sad but if people keep going there and spending money then they'll keep doing it. Vote with your feet and walk away.
Alot of these pet shops just want 99% profit, and don't really give to ***** about anything.Add that to the fact the goverment are way to lenient when they do find out.
Way to many warnings, which is why they get away with things forever.cuz nothing at all is done to them :)
