Just looking for some advice, are they any good for royals? I have my female royal in 18 ltr rub at the moment and was looking at giving her a bit more space as she is getting bigger. |

I was looking at them as a alternative to rubs but seem very pricey for what they are |

I was considering housing my Tarantulas in these (or a self built rip off of them) but I don't think they've got what it takes for all but the smallest snakes. Yet I don't really know why I think that as there is no reason why a Royal could t be kept in one. |

Thanks for the reply's, I got one for my corn but he's still to small for it so it's sitting spare at the moment so I thought May as well see if it was suitable for keeping a royal in. |

Also remember moving them around is hard.Ie,if you want to increase your collect later.I think there great,if you plan on only keeping afew things.Or if you put them on top of something else, that has no more room for anything other then that.
I was going to put one on top of a writing desk,As it would have been ideal.
you can stack two vivs in the same space, where as with them, you can't.So your using up more space. |

I was looking to "copy" the monkfield design to make a drawer-type stacked viv. I do believe the top opening is such a disadvantage - it really doesn't make sense because you can't put it up high (like on top of a dresser of something because it would be too inconvenient to maintain it from up there. But, at the same time, the low-height design makes it too inconvenient to see the display.
But, if you're going to put it in drawer sliders, then yeah, stack 4 of those up and you're rocking. |
Snake owner since Oct 2008, so yeah, I'm no expert. 0.1.0 pastel royal 1.0.0 spider royal 0.1.0 albino royal 1.0.0 bumblebee royal 1.0.0 yellowbelly royal 0.0.1 wild-type royal 1.0.0 normal western hognose |

Yeah good point,The only place i could put one where it wouldn't interfere with anything is on top of my desk.As nothing else could fit on top of there anyway.
There to limiting to what you can do with them.Unless you only want one snake,or this is the only thing that fits where you want to place it.

that's a good point to,But then cost might go against them.
