Hi everyone,
Our new addition Piedbald had a dodgy shed at the weekend.
Had to intervene... Bath, pillow case etc.
Got amost all of the shed removed apart from some under his chin.
I've raised the humidity and misted but can't get it off. Not gonna stress the poor guy out anymore but wanted to know if it's ok to leave it and let nature run its course. It's not even obvious that there's any shed remaining.
Thanks for your help! |

Aslong as not blocking any air ways. Give up a day or two. Should be ok. I have done before and tend it knock it off. If not you'll have to rub it off. |

My calico had a bad shed last time, I put her in a 9lt rub with enough water to go half way up her body and a large rock, put lid on , , checked back in 15 min job done, one happy clean royal. |

Thanks!
Should I be concerned then that this happened at the weekend and it's now Thursday?
Should I be trying to remove the skin?
Or do I just let it come off (hopefully) with the next shed? |

You can try to get it off one more time with the bath and if that doesn't do it, I'd just wait for next shed. |
