Hi all,
Our 3rd and last clutch finally hatched. I`m well pleased with these odds. The pairing was Pinstripe x Bumblee Bee (A real stud, the Sire of three of our clutches over the past two years).
For a first time mom she laid 10 eggs and the hatchlings are as follow :
1 x Spinner Blast (Keeper)
1 x Lemon Blast
6 x Spinners
1 x Pinstripe (very reduced pattern)
1 x Pastel

1.1.0 Heterodon nasicus (Western Hognose)

Awesome looking clutch!!
Is it bad that out of those group shots the pastel stands out as my favourite. Just love the wild type royal markings mixed with that lush bright yellow. The colour contrast is amazing!! |
