have decided to start growing a lot of the food for jasmin as one it will be cheaper and two i will know exactly what has been near the plant's
some watercress in pot's until it sprout's some root's then will be planted in soil

and some carrot top's on damp tissue these should start growing fairly quick

will be digging over an fencing off a big area of my garden over the weekend ready for planting spring green's, turnip's, parsnip's, radish, beetroot and mustard green's next year

dought id go as far as going to veg growing competition's might take jasmin along to one so she can pig out on their prized veg though haha

yep fairly easy plus i know exactly what has gone into the plant's
by putting the carrot top's on damp tissue the top's/leafy bit's will grow but not the carrot so an easy way to grow carrot top's indoor's, people also do this for rabbit food from what ive read

Nice looking soil you got, should be great for vegie growing. I was growing a lot myself a couple of years back & found that Carrots do really well in a 50/50 mix of fine sand & soil. The trick is getting the rotation right so you always have a supply.
