Tbh, if I had all the money back that I spent on royal over the last few years, I'd spend it again in the exact same way Lol
You've gotta get the animals that please you most. You're gonna be the one that feeds, waters, cleans and generally cares for them. Make sure you're always thrilled when you open the tub otherwise, you'll not wanna put the work in

Yea.£2000 would be a nice deposite on some of the morphs i'd like. |

In my opinion investing is probably the biggest mistake you could make. The way all snakes, not just Royals have declined in price this year should make all of us sit up and think. You should buy them because you want them not because you believe you can make a quick buck.
Even if you bought some super rare morph you can`t be sure that your Royals will breed, then if they do are you going to get the desired babies, you could end up with normals or low end morphs.
Then you`ve got the big if`s -
Does anyone want to buy them, and more importantly what will that super morph that you purchased this year be worth next year.
Take for example the Banana, Last year £10-12K this year £1000. probably £400-500 next year because everyones producing male makers.
As before, buy them because you like them. |

Yeah speak to Kelfezond, he should have some good morphs coming up next year (seems weird that what I actually mean is next week).
Hodgie has it spot on, unless you're the sort of breeder like BHB etc then there isn't going to be a vast profit in anything and if you do get lucky it is just that; luck.
You're far better off having pets that may every now and again make you some pocket money. |
