I'm using the Tortoise terrain that pets at home do. It's a sterile sand soil mix. Seems good but time will tell.
Rusty, they're quite difficult but only in as much as they need a lot of room and their diet is massively varied and it's taken me quite a long time to prepare by planting all sorts of different salads, wild flowers etc all over the house. |

ah right, a friend of mine uses the compacted hay stuff with his tort's cant remember what it's actually called.
yes their diet is very varied been reading up quite a bit about it as most of the stuff tortoise's eat is also good for iguana's |

Very cute, I thought it would be easy growing weeds for my two, how wrong I was could not even grow weeds. I just pick weeds now when I'm walking the dog red clover is a favourite |
