I'd just like to thanks everyone who gave me advice about the care of my Royal, but this morning he died!!
I truly thought he was improving but obviousely i was wrong. This has truly made me appriciate how wonderful Royals are and we will be looking for somebody new in the next few weeks.

I would like to bring to all your attentions something i belive to be very troubleling. Max came from Neon Gecko in Glasgow city centre, when Max became ill 3 weeks after i got him, i returned to the shop to ask advice and was told by the owner Dave that this was a common problem, don't bother with the vet and just push the heat up. He said "I've got several royals with RI's in the back they always clear up, i've never had any complaints" i take this to mean that he was selling them with recovering RI's or worse!!

I just wanted to bring this to everyones attention, and i will be contacting him tommorrow to let him know what's what!!!!!!!

Thanks for your support again
Mogsy

Oh no, that's terrible.

It's true that RI's are fairly common, but they need to be treated. It makes sense now as to why your vet had to keep it in, it must have been very advanced, probably from the shop.
