you know what i miss most about autumn, is the great storms we used to get....

May have to go "borrow" my parents' aircon fan thingy if the temps keep climbing |

I think I have had a good idea.
I have ordered 4 80mm 12v pc fans from ebay. I recon two screwed onto the outside of the viv over the vents will give some good air flow. I will put one on to extract air and one to blow it through. |

That would be interesting to see how it goes, is your room cool?
it is going to get hotter this week, expect a 37 this week somewhere in the south |

The only thing I can think is that moving air helps animals that sweat cool down as the sweat evaporates. Reptiles don't sweat though.... |

That is a very good point...
Edit - But would it cool the general air temp? Or just move warm air around? I will have to get some more digi therms and check the ambient temp in both vivs. |

The fans came through today. They are pretty quiet and will give enough air flow for a viv (wired to a 9V battery) |

I will probably do a little guide. Im trying to figure out a way to make a switch for them, I dont want to have to reach round the back of the viv and sort the wireing out to turn them on and off. |
