When i went and got Kayla yesterday i made sure i got a guided tour..lol..
I noticed a big difference in size between royals that were feeding on live and mine feeding on F/T
for the most part the live feeders were growing really really well...so made me wonder if they do breed younger in the wild, assuming they can get prey of course... |

Yes they probably breed younger in the wild, doesn't mean they are healthy or even live. |

yeah i know cos they have all kinds of things to put up with from parasites to randy males and predators.. |

also in the wild i bet they dont get feed every 7 days so may take a little longer to grow. |

yeah but when you look at a royal the same age as say P the difference is not massive, but they have grown nicely... |

It ok im having one of those days...
I suppose there is benefits to fresh over F/T nutritionally but im not sure how much...need to ask one of the scienctist guys... |
