When i went and got Kayla yesterday i made sure i got a guided tour..lol..

I noticed a big difference in size between royals that were feeding on live and mine feeding on F/T

for the most part the live feeders were growing really really well...so made me wonder if they do breed younger in the wild, assuming they can get prey of course...

Yes they probably breed younger in the wild, doesn't mean they are healthy or even live.

yeah i know cos they have all kinds of things to put up with from parasites to randy males and predators..

were the F/T not growing well???

also in the wild i bet they dont get feed every 7 days so may take a little longer to grow.

yeah but when you look at a royal the same age as say P the difference is not massive, but they have grown nicely...

It ok im having one of those days...

I suppose there is benefits to fresh over F/T nutritionally but im not sure how much...need to ask one of the scienctist guys...
