I got my Royal last week which is my first ever snake/reptile. Now obviously after a few days and one feed I;m a snake keeping legend!! lol
I cansee myself getting bitten by thebug but I'd like to aim next for a bigger thicker snake but I don;t know enough about the species names to know what to research

Can anyone point me in right direction so I can start looking

cheers Simon

If your looking for something bigger/thicker then you should be looking towards a Boa...

I agree with Daz. I was in exactly the same position and after much reading decided that a boa was what I was looking for. Mine's a big girl, she's nearly 18"!

I was expecting that GP!

Dumeril's are great, they don't get quite as big as a BCI / BCC. I do prefer the BCI markings though. <<ducks for cover!>>

you could also look at a CCP or a JCP

And that's why god made snakes in different colours, so that we can all have one that we like!
