Serves me right for being so trusting. Saw an add on RFUK with someone wanting a mat stat and mat in exchange for a dimming stat.

I had spare mats and mat stats so I sent them off, but never received the dimming stat. The user (Amylovelys) has now turned their PM function off so I can't speak to her about it either.

So I do quite a thorough search on RFUK and see she's been accused of scamming in the past (several months ago).

Unfortunatly you can never be sure.

Although with 2K+ posts I would have probably trusted her too.

Thats a s... Blackecho. I`m wary of that site. I bought some hides the other day but picked them up. I also bought a pulse stat which i have`nt recieved yet. The bloke said send the money to him but i insisted i pay by paypal. I read about someone else that got scammed on there and think they traced the person through facebook and google. Might be worth a go.

has she said she sent it?

if so ask for proof of posting and claim the dimmer back from the post office, if she has not responded, i would keep asking everyday on the thread for a few days and then if she still dont reply i think you should name and shame her in classified chat on the dark side.

i know it isnt a nice thing to do but she needs shafting if she has scammed you.

Yes, she said she sent it the same day I did, 29th June.

the receipt is proof of posting..

the post office have changed the way they do p.o.p now it comes automatically on the bottom of the receipt..

shame,uts you off ever doing it again.I wouldnt normaly do the trust thing through a forum but did it once on here with mulv,we swapped stats and he kept to it,better class of people on here.
