i have just had a play with this app http://serpwidgets.com/Apps/measure.html
i have used it on 2 of my snakes and i would say its very accurate maybe 2-4% out at the most.
here pringles who asked to be measured and it says he is 74cm long

i know monty was 3' 2" when he was stretch on the swing bench the other day so will see what he comes out as when not straight.

We might both be in trouble anyway- Laura is supposed to be a dab hand at Yorkshires- the biggest and best in Doncaster apparrently
