I hadnt even got the RUB lid off, i didnt have any intention of taking the lid off. Just a quick open, wiggle and close feeding ........ I blinked, LOL ..... i couldnt get him off the lip of the RUB for about ten minutes so in the end left him to try and eat the mouse but before long he realised he couldnt so dropped it. I then hooked him back into his RUB and tried again .... with success Thought i would share some pics. Ant x

Obran is 940g i think at the last weigh in and he eats every 10-14 days but to be honest i go on him. He last ate 17 days ago purely because he went into shed and then after shedding he hangs around all over the RUB so i know he is hungry. If he stays hidden i dont bother offering |

Scamps (in the pics) is in a 12ltr RUB, ive just moved him up from a 9ltr. Obran is in a 50ltr RUB
No rack (i wish, lol) they are both kept on heat mats and stats. The room they are in will go too cold in the winter but by then i will have them in a little viv stack with ceramic bulbs on stats.
I have a heat plate in the roof of my beardies viv on a timer and stat for the winter but to honest she normally brumates so it will probably stay turned off! |
