stupid question but does it matter how you defrost prey in water or leave in a bag |

If you put it directly into water you may was the scent off and your snake may not recognise it as food. |

My 07, Obran, wont eat rats that are wet, even if i dry them off and warm them up with a hairdryer ...
I tend to just get the prey out in the morning and then by the time im going to bed its defrosted and ready for warming up.
I dont think Scamps my 09 would care .. if it moves ITS FOOOOODDDDD! |

I leave it ontop of the vivs all day, then heat them up a touch above a ceramic. This means they smell it all day and are more likely, imho, to eat. Stig is scary, he can smell rats when they are still frozen! |
