I am looking to buy my 7th and probably final Royal, it will be a female.
Current snakes:
Wild Type Male
Het Albino Male
Fire Male
Albino Female
Fire Female
Pinstripe Female (on its way)
So the next female could be put to a WT, Het Albino(or hopefully an Albino male I will have bred by then) or Fire first generation. There will also be Pinstripes to consider adding into the gene pool at some point.
Looking at Lessers, Mojaves, Pastel/Super Pastel or Cinnamon.
So there are possibilities of:
Lesser Albino
Lesser Fire
Lesser Pinstripe (Kingpin)
Mojave Albino
Mojave Fire
Mojave Pinstripe (Jigsaw)
Pastel Albino
Pastel Fire (Firefly)
Pastel Pinstripe (Lemonblast)
Cinnamon Albino
Cinnamon Fire
Cinnamon Pinstripe
What would you buy? - please vote below

hard choice Piers...
think i would only get a cinny if i had a pastel to make Pewters..
You did not list butters, Desert or Vanilla..but maybe the first one is a little pricey...
I would be inclined to go Mojo cos there are so many possiblitlies with it. and you get the beautiful Mojo Fire..
But i also like Lessers you know that, but looking at what you have i would deffo go Mojo...
Unless you ever plan on getting a pastel and a spider
i am not much help am i?
I have the same problem next year in deciding which morph to mate with...
though Desert is top of my list now...closely followed, by
Cinny
Lesser
Pied
Leopard Pastel ( but that is not an option right now )
Butter
Pinstripe

I have not been convinced that there is a genetic difference between Butter and Lesser (such as Pastel, Lemon Pastel, Graziani Pastel etc), I think it is the same gene just with different line breeding. So I did not include it. Vanillas don't do anything for me at all and I don't know enough about Desserts.
I thought there would be at least a vote for Lesser for Kingpins!
However, Mojave could be fun with Mojo Fires and and Jigsaws. |

the only reason i never went Lesser was because i felt you could maybe do more with a mojo with what you have,
but yes, i love kingpins...

I like the Super Pastel as you're guaranteed at least Pastels in all offspring and Fireflys are gorgeous.
I like Lessers for their look and Kingpins are amazing.
Mojaves are like a cheap version of the Lesser and JBR has a nice female going cheap at the moment.
Cinnamons I'm probably least interested in. |

I'm not very good when it comes to the different combinations of royals - thats my hubbys department, but we have just put a deposit on a pastel and my hubby was set on getting a spider.
Like you I'm not a lover of spiders, not fussed on the white around the bottom......that was until we spotted this little girl on the dark side...
She is a spider 50% het albino, and researching the books she has good potential for breeding.
She comes at a good price and can be couriered anywhere in the UK.

| Fingers crossed that 50% turns to 100% for you when you put her to your albino, otherwise she's just a Spider. Its the neurological problems I've never liked with Spiders, so I went for a Pinstripe instead. |
