Did anyone watch this on TV last night??
I have tried to find some sort of link so you can preview but as yet not found.
This was on the Discovery channel about people being bitten by snakes, spiders etc.
i couldnt believe the damage that was done to a bloke (in the USA) who had been bitten by a Stilletto snake. The vemon is apparently that bad that it starts to digest you from the inside out!! The pictures they showed were quite grafic and this poor bloke was in extreme agony as his thumb swelled up to 4 times its size and turned to a pulp.
The tissue had to be removed and he had to have skin grafts to cover what was left of the exposed bone!!
Apparently there is no antidote for a bite by this snake, so he didnt feel it was worth going to the hospital about. (madhead!)
He was very lucky to surive and come out with a thumb that has had several skin grafts - but he says the excruciating pain that he still has because of recurrences is unbeleivable.
See if you can check it out Discovery channel Sky - i will try to continue to find a link. |

Aye some snake poisons are really nasty. Some cause your blood to coagulate in your veins, nasty stuff man.
