What sealant is reptile friendly to seal up a new viv? Needs to be safe for reps obviously. snakes and lizards will be using the vivs Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeers
use aquarium grade silicon sealant.......... the normal stuff, particularly ones that say they kill mould/mildew for years, can give off chemicals for a looooong time.......
yeah i agree i always use aquarium sealant. places like b&q charge alot for it but if you go to the cheap diy shops such as in excess ( if you have one near by ) they only charge £2.95 per tube and its good stuff. also its probally best to leave it a couple of days once youve used it to let it cure and let the fumes dissapere.
hope this helps
