Sorry, more questions

If i do take on the royal he is about 3.5ft. What size of viv is best? I have been advised 3ft or 4ft. But im not sure between the two, or do you recomend something completly different?

Do you have any set up pics you could post for me to have a look at please?

Thanks

Try this link for set up pics
http://www.theroyalpython.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1481

Also I believe that a good starting point is half the length of the snake (I may be corrected on this)

But I have been told that most people will stop at 3' but 4' is not too bad.

Hope that helps

i have my males in 36x24x24

i went for this size as it gives a good depth and they can stay in it for as long as the viv lasts..

If it's well packed out and can "hide" in the viv you will be fine with a 3ft, a 2ft would suffice though

I would go for a 3ft. I had Tilly in a 2ft and it is hard to get a heat gradient
