The temps do seem to be stableizing...the hot spot is only about a 4' diameter circle directly above the lamp in the lower viv...

Its the 2nd one i have converted now ruusm...they were just going to throw them away so i volunteered to take them off there hands...

had a quick look at your sticky, like the reflective mats that you have added. Might have to give that a go in mine a no matter what I was trying with the lamp running in the bottom viv it was pushing the cool temp in the top viv up to mid 80's
