I working in Facilities Management ... i have to start organising Xmas for the company around June/ July .... its very depressing, lol. Plus a lot of resturants and stuff are advertising Xmas booking now .....

I think shops should be banned from doing anything Xmasy until November at the very earliest.

Doesnt really bother me to be honest, me and my missus normally make presents for people anyways so it doesnt cost much at all and we dont need to trawl shops in the rush. Between us we make scarfs, hats, bracelets, necklaces and home baked mini hampers of food. The lack of kids and spending stress leaves us with a nice chilled out christmas :-), not a lot of 27 year olds can say that haha

I agree with you, i trhink advertising should not start till after Bonfire night, it takes away the excitement of it...

We're not havin christmas this year.
Cyprus was so gorgeous, we decided we would rather save for another holiday than waste money on stupid presents that nobody uses after about a week.
So here's to hoping the holiday fund grows and grows.

I love christmas, if nothing else it gets all the family together which seems to be increasingly difficult nowadays. Not to mention my credit card company love me for it!

my hatred of Christmas normally boils down to stupid effing customer ringing me and asking me to work over the Christmas period as that is their quietest time (mainly big servers etc which aren't used during Christmas shutdowns).

It annoys the crap outta me that I work my ass off when everyone else is enjoying "christmas spirit"

I do love the look on my sons face come presant time though.

Agree shops should be banned from having christmas stuff out to early. Gives the kids to much time to pick out their (more expensive) presents.
