Just thought I would post a spot for fellow carpet owners. Maybe ONE shot of your snake and a description, to help others understand the differences....

hello guys. have been offered a coastal carpet at £100. hold back from last year. do you think its a good price. i can't find a price any where on line for one.?

strike that. not happening this time. picking up another normal during the week instead. Going to hold out for an I J carpet python.(or might just get a pastel royal)

coastals get VERY big for future reference, which is why when someone offered me the right money I sold Surf. He was only 8 months old and already 5ft+ Was very skinny (compared to many 5ft snakes) but strong and growing fast.

yeah the whole 7-10ft thing didn't really bother me. In the end i really just didn't like the look of them as much. maybe i'll get a Carpet next year. though i might have to sneak it in past the wife and when she sees it try and convince her that its always been there.LOL

should listen to my own advice:

oh well, for £25 can't grumble, tbh more of a rescue than a purchase, its that skinny
