is it normal for snake to be very cold

Snakes are cold blooded so can feel cold to touch.

Human body temp is around 37C, hot end of your viv is around 32C so yes it will usually feel cool to you.

lol..i had the same thing with Peanut when i first got him, and kind of panicked..

but was soon put at ease when i was told they could feel cool..lol.
