is it me or do Boas always look like they are just waiting to bite you? I think it's the eyes, they just look calculating.

They are stunning to photograph though

I know what you mean Karl, they have a slighly devious look to them! Still think they are gorgeous snakes though, definitely on the Christmas list.

Saw a normal boa constrictor at the reptile store but I'm put off by the size, but at 5-6ft these sound ideal! Was she hard to come by?

I actually bought her on impulse LOL from a classified I saw on reptileforums (). There are quite a few babies being advertised there at the moment actually

LOL seems to be a common look with boas I think, but Lily is as soft as butter
