Last time I tried to feed him a rat he wasn't interested, so today I performed a little 'pinky surgery' and rubbed the blood onto the rat fluff and he took it with no problems. Bless him he yawned a few times after he'd swallowed it... rats are obviously a lot more effort to swallow than little mice! So hopefully now he'll think of ratties as food and he'll eat one again. Glad he's started onto rats now at any rate.

I wanna try and get Heffa onto rats, but the small weaners I got, are nearly double the size of the large mice. Is a small weaner the equivalent size for a large mouse?
